Hello and Welcome to B&K Brittanys! We would like to start out by saying Thanks for visiting us and that we hope you will find our site to be informative and helpful. If you are already familiar with the Brittany, than the following information will not be news to you. If this is the first time you have considered this breed, we would like to suggest that you do some research thru the internet and/or talk to some Brittany owners. As with any pet you need to make sure that they will fit into your lifestyle. The Brittany, first and foremost is bred to be a hunting dog. Like so many other Purebred dogs, it has also enjoyed great success in the show ring. Over the years many of our sporting dog breeds have been bred specifically for show and as a result their natural hunting instincts have not been cultivated. This is not true with the Brittany. Responsible breeders have worked hard to keep natural hunting instincts alive while also improving physical traits. The fact that the Brittany has more Dual Champions (field/show) than all other sporting dogs combined is proof of the commitment breeders have to this. In addition to being a incredible bird dog, Brittanys make wonderful family pets that get along good with other animals and they are great with kids. They are extremely intelligent and take to training very easily. We feel that there is not a more versatile or complete dog in the canine world. The phrase "Man's Best Friend" could not be a more fitting description of the dog. No matter how many mistakes we make, we are always forgiven and greeted with abounding joy. The unconditional love and loyalty that we receive from our pets demand that we give them no less in return. Their devotion and dedication to us is the one constant in a constantly changing world.

B&K Brittanys is a small family owned and operated kennel  established in 2003 and located in Central Arkansas. We have owned and hunted Brittanys since 1981. We do not field trial or show our dogs although our bloodlines have champions in both areas. We have pups on a limited basis, usually producing o to 1 litter per year. We are very    selective about placing pups in good homes so please do not be offended if we ask you some questions when you call. We do require deposits on pups and we also require that we be notified of change of ownership. The welfare of our pups are our #1 priority and we want to assist you in anyway we can. Bird Hunting today is not like it was in Grandpa's day. Less habitat and fewer birds have forced us change our approach. The Brittany, with its incredible nose and trainability to hunt close and canvas a small area, has made it the perfect bird dog for these conditions. Kick in the fact that they point and retrieve in water with the same eagerness as on land, and it gets hard to find a more versatile hunting companion then the Brittany!
